Your Estonian Sauna Experience begins with a short introduction to the sauna tradition and guidelines for enjoying the ritual comfortably.
You will enter a traditional wooden sauna, where temperatures typically range between 70°C and 100°C. The gentle heat helps open pores, relax muscles, and promote a deep sense of well-being.
During the session, participants may use birch branches (called “viht” or “vasta”) to lightly tap the skin, a traditional practice believed to improve circulation and enhance relaxation.
Between sauna sessions, guests may cool down outside in the fresh air, take a quick dip in cold water, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The Estonian sauna can be enjoyed all year round, and each season offers a different atmosphere.
Winter – Snowy landscapes make the hot sauna even more refreshing.
Spring & Summer – Relax after outdoor activities in nature.
Autumn – Cozy sauna evenings during cool Nordic nights.
