2.Changes to Itineraries & Services

We reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, transport, activities, or any part of the travel services due to operational requirements, weather conditions, supplier availability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives of similar value and quality. Changes requested by the traveler after confirmation may result in additional charges and will be subject to availability and supplier policies.

3.Third-Party Services & Responsibilities

Scandic Expeditions works with third-party service providers including hotels, airlines, cruise operators, transport companies, and local guides. While we carefully select our partners, we act only as an intermediary and are not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, service failures, or changes made by these third parties. Any issues related to third-party services will be addressed on a best-effort basis, and any compensation or refunds will be subject to the respective supplier’s terms and conditions.

4.Travel Documents, Safety & Insurance

Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring that they hold valid passports, visas, permits, health documents, and any other documents required for travel. We are not liable for any loss, delay, or cancellation caused by incorrect or missing documentation. Travelers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, delays, loss of belongings, and other unforeseen situations during their journey.

5.Liability, Force Majeure & Policy Updates

Scandic Expeditions shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or additional expenses arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, political situations, technical issues, or government restrictions.
